Miss Maryland America's Touch of Class
On May 14, 2008 Alicia Taylor, the twenty year old of Baltimore, Maryland received the inaugural title of Miss Maryland in the pageant system America’s Touch of Class and received the first runner up at Nationals in Las Vegas in June 2008. She was also crowned Miss Baltimore City International on August 6, 2008. She will be vying for the title of Miss Maryland International on April 15, 2009.
Her current reigns will be from 2008-09.
Miss Taylor is an online student at Ashworth University in Norcross, Georgia and is majoring in Fashion Retail Management and has been accepted to Coppin State University for spring 2009 in Pre-Law degree program with a Dance minor, and works as the Executive Assistant in Coppin’s Admissions Department. She is a 10 year member of The Church of the Redeemed of the Lord where she is the on the Dance Ministry, Youth Choir and teaches for the Christian Education Department. She firmly believes that her faith and love for God and His people have made her into the successful woman she has become.
